We allow woodlands, grasslands and wetlands to regenerate naturally. 

 There's no tractors burning diesel, no killing of grasses with herbicides, no digging and disruption of the soil, no plastic tree-guards...  Once our nature reserves are established, healthy, biodiverse, sequestering carbon and accessible, we will bequeath them to the local community to remain protected in perpetuity. Our nature will last forever - it's the best thing you can do with your money. 


What makes Wild Carbon unique?

Carbon offsets are traditionally bought from organisations

that offer tree-planting as their primary method. 


We now know that nature does it better.


Tree planting can be expensive, inefficient and in some cases, it can have a negative effect..


Yet it's the standard way to get a carbon offsetting certificate in the UK. 


We need more woodland, and we also need grasslands, wetlands and even scrub lands, but nature can plant, create and maintain them all for us, a little more slowly perhaps, but much much more powerfully. 


All we need to do is set aside the land to give back to Nature.


Nature and certificates don't go together, instead of buying trees,

invest in Nature to let it regenerate in its own time and in its own way.

Scientific Rigour

Wild Carbon is teamed up with the University of the West of England to conduct a comprehensive study into the carbon offsetting benefits of natural restoration.


A team of soil scientists and ecologists are supporting us as we develop a straight forward and affordable tool kit for measuring the carbon sequestration benefits of rewilding.
